He's the Crunchiest

My part of a small trade with Crunchy_Bat on FA!

This tiny piece gave me so much hell.... I about gave up halfway through. x.x I used a new paper, "mixed media" it says... "Wet applications" the cover says..... Yeah well, after the first layer of watercolor, it did nothing but smear and lift the color I already put down.  I finally had to give up, spray it with fixative, and finish the rest in colored pencil....which I haven't used in years, so, needless to say it was a challenge for me. Regardless, I think it came out okay. Some parts could be better but oh well. I tried.

Also, I imagine that with big leathery wings sticking out of your back, your clothing would have to have large holes cut in it....so I tried to illustrate that as well.
